Strong team: Reh Kendermann expands marketing department

Reh Kendermann stellt sein Marketingteam neu auf.

Bingen, September 26, 2024. The Bingen winery Reh Kendermann has reorganized its marketing department and increased its staff. The team now includes three brand managers and two creatives.

The position of marketing manager was newly created. Björn Ritter has held this position since September 1, 2024. The 34-year-old knows Reh Kendermann very well: from 2014 to 2019 he was already employed as a brand manager at the winery. After various positions inside and outside the wine industry, Björn Ritter has now returned to Reh Kendermann. He emphasizes: “I am looking forward to helping to shape and be responsible for the diverse tasks in marketing.” Björn Ritter reports to Managing Director Alexander Rittlinger, who is responsible for marketing in the company management. Alexandra Gabriel is also new to the team. Like Björn Ritter, she studied international wine management in Geisenheim. Alexandra Gabriel brings many years of experience, most recently as a product manager at the Veritable Groupe. At Reh Kendermann, the brand manager looks after the Strandgut brand and is responsible for the brands of the company’s subsidiaries in Romania and South Africa, Val Duna and Napier. The team is complemented by brand manager Kyra Kayser as well as Frank Feßenmayer and Eva Jares in the graphics department.
Well positioned for the future Together, the marketing managers at Reh Kendermann are developing their own brands, such as the world’s most successful German wine brand Black Tower and the popular wine spritzer Strandgut. The team also creates exclusive premium and terroir concepts for numerous customers at home and abroad. For Alexander Rittlinger, the strengthening of the marketing team is the result of the winery’s consistent focus on the needs of the market. “The wine market is currently very demanding: Since the pandemic, the wine category has been changing constantly, and wineries have to find answers to changing market conditions and consumer desires ever more quickly,” explains the managing director. “New approaches and increased capacities in product development and marketing are required so that we at Reh Kendermann, together with sales, can respond effectively to the challenges ahead. I believe that we are well positioned with this expansion of the team.”
