Philosophy

“The one purpose of wine is to bring happiness” – Dr Henry Lindemanwas already convinced of this when he founded the winery in 1843. Winemaker Wayne Falkenberg joined Lindemans in 1976 and has since contributed a great deal to the development of the winery and the brand’s reputation. “The wines I create are the kind you drink at the end of a busy day – at a picnic, a barbecue or for supper at home.”

BIN Series

The BIN series delights wine drinkers all over the world with international grape varieties. The BIN number denotes the grape variety according to an old tradition. Winemakers used to mark the barrels with numbers to identify where each barrel was stored in the cellar. All four wines in the Lindemans range stand for sociability, enjoyment and pleasure – true to the credo of founder Dr Henry Lindeman.
