Dual study programme
What you can expect
Theory and practice are inextricably linked. That is why we offer you the opportunity to learn all about business management with industry-specific expertise and key qualifications as part of a dual study programme in cooperation with the renowned DHBW university in Mannheim.
Theoretical blocks at university and practical blocks at Reh Kendermann alternate. You will familiarise yourself with key areas such as purchasing, sales, marketing, production, controlling and human resources. This allows you to put your newly acquired knowledge to the test in practice.

What you bring with
Are you looking for a degree programme where you can combine theory and practice? Would you like to apply the specialist knowledge you have learnt at university directly in practice? You also have a general higher education entrance qualification or have successfully completed your vocational baccalaureate diploma. As a master craftsman, state-certified technician, business economist or with a qualified professional qualification including work experience, you can also start without a baccalaureate diploma.
You enjoy working on a PC, have a commercial mindset, work with attention to detail and have a good command of written and spoken English. You are reliable, a team player and enthusiastic about new tasks. You also show initiative and commitment. Does this apply to you? Then apply now.

Industrial clerk
What you can expect
During your 3-year apprenticeship, you will gain an insight into the commercial areas of sales, purchasing, human resources, accounting and marketing.
Your tasks will include
- Purchasing materials, e.g. bulk wine, bottles or packaging materials
- Receiving and checking goods, delivery notes and invoices
- Determining requirements and associated planning
- Support with advertising and sales promotion measures
- Price calculations, preparing quotations and processing customer orders
- Bookkeeping, checking payment receipts, writing reminders
You can also shorten your apprenticeship if you fulfil the relevant requirements.

Would you like to understand how a commercial enterprise works and how day-to-day business is conducted? Organisation and coordination, as well as the ability to work in a team and reliability are among your strengths? Do you have a good secondary school certificate and enjoy working on a PC? Businessman for wholesale and foreign trade management
What you can expect
During your 3-year apprenticeship, you will gain an insight into the commercial areas of sales, purchasing, human resources, accounting and marketing.
Your tasks will include
- Material purchasing of bulk wine, bottles or packaging material
- Receiving and checking goods, delivery notes and invoices
- Determining requirements and corresponding planning
- Support with advertising and sales promotion measures
- Price calculations, preparing quotations and processing customer orders
- Bookkeeping, checking payment receipts, writing reminders
- Active cooperation and acquisition of professional and training-relevant skills in sales
If you fulfil the relevant requirements, you can also shorten your apprenticeship.

Training as a warehouse clerk
What you can expect
As a warehouse clerk, you will learn how a warehouse is managed: from incoming goods to stock control and outgoing goods, you will support the team. You will also learn which regulations you have to comply with and how the goods are packed and stored correctly. You will learn what ‘first in – first out’ means and how to use forklift trucks and other machines in a warehouse.
Your tasks will include
- Receiving goods
- Checking goods for quality and quantity and storing them correctly
- Assembling deliveries for dispatch
- Assisting with logistical planning and organisational processes
- Areas of application: all warehouse areas, outgoing goods and transport

Machine and plant operator
What you can expect
As a machine and plant operator, your technical skills are required. You will learn how to set up and operate the production machines and systems independently.
Your tasks will include
- Setting up the production systems and filling
- Commissioning and checking machines
- Changeover between different filling orders
- Monitoring and controlling the systems
- Planning workflows and monitoring production processes
What you bring with
Do you want to work with your hands, have a technical understanding and want to know how production works in an industrial company? Do you have at least a good secondary school leaving certificate, are reliable and careful and want to take on responsibility? Wine technologist
What you can expect
As a wine technologist, you will work very closely with the product. You will learn how to make must from grapes and then process it into wine, grape juice, sweet reserve or sparkling wine using the latest machines.
Your tasks will include
- Receiving grapes, must and wine and checking the quality
- Monitoring and controlling the fermentation process
- Carrying out laboratory analyses
- Filtration of wine and creation of cuvées
- Operating and maintaining state-of-the-art cellar technology
